About Image - Job Board X Webflow Template
TeenWork started as a way to help high school students acquire new skills, serve their communities, gain meaningful work experience, break barriers, build a resume and land their future dream career.

As a teenager, I know how frustrating it can be to land your first job with little or no work experience. I’ve seen so many friends struggle to build a resume, gain experience and find quality employment that is flexible around school. I want to change that. I believe every teen deserves to discover their passions, gain real-world skills, and find work that is rewarding and sets them up for future success in college and beyond. That’s why I’m committed to helping other teens find hands-on work experience through volunteer, internship and employment opportunities with companies that invest and believe in today's youth - future leaders of tomorrow.

Teens are the future

Helping teens gain valuable work experience creates stronger families and communities. Learning responsibility, work ethic and time management are just a few reasons work experience benefits teens. Often times, teens are not armed with adequate career knowledge when applying to colleges and choosing a major to study. Teens develop confidence, leadership, service, engagement and independence that play a crucial role in youth development. They bring fresh perspectives, energy, eagerness and willingness to learn. By hiring teenagers, employers have the opportunity to shape young talent and the future workforce.
